After dinner it is time to taste local grappa, liqueurs and cocktails prepared by the art of our Mixology-man, accompanied by traditional Sicilian songs. It is an experience that allows you to discover the culture and the soul of our land.


The Etna region is the third most important wine producing area in Italy and Wine Spectator have put 3 of our Etna wines on the list of the 100 best Italian wines. Choose among the best wine brands of the territory, which can be paired with dishes of our restaurant or enjoyed on their own. Among our wines, you will mainly find native varieties such as the Nerello mascalese or the Nerello Cappuccio, with important brands of the region such as Benanti, Frank Cornellissen, Passopisciaro, Tenuta delle Terre Nere and others, but also allochthonous varieties such as the Petit Verdot and others, liqueurs and dessert wines such as Malvasia delle Lipari, Passito di Pantelleria, Marsala Superiore or Vecchio Samperi.

Our Wine

Our wine selection pays tribute to the Etna region’s excellence in terms of wines. We offer the best wines from Etna and Sicily, but also from the rest of Italy and abroad. You can also taste Monaci’s own wine in front of the fireplace, in the comfort of your Suite, in the ancient wine press or at the poolside.
Monaci is the first privileged spot to taste our own wine, made from the vines of our own vineyards, with different native varieties of the Etna region, such as Nerello Mascalese and Carricante, a wine grape variety which can only be found in the Etna region.
We organise wine tastings within the estate and in several wineries of the surroundings; we also run wine classes with experts sommeliers every week.
