Guido Coffa Wine Cellar
Etna in a bottle: the wines of the estate
On Mount Etna, growing vines is a matter of respect. The soil is volcanic, the slopes are steep, and every plant requires hands-on care. That’s where Guido Coffa’s vision begins: to create wines that are a true expression of the land.
Carricante, Nerello Mascalese, Catarratto, Grenache — only native varieties, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. In select vineyards, Coffa has chosen to revive ancient pre-phylloxera vines, giving life to Le Viti di Minico — a wine that brings memory and complexity back to a nearly forgotten craft.
The cellar works with intention and restraint. No manipulation, minimal intervention. Each bottle reflects the delicate balance between soil, climate, and the human hand. This is not a wine made to impress — it’s a wine made to reveal.

Visiting the Guido Coffa Wine Cellar means stepping into a very specific idea of wine — and of Etna itself. You’ll walk among the vineyard rows, hear the stories of those who work the land each day, and taste wine at the very place it begins.
The sommelier doesn’t lead with a script, but shapes the tasting around you. Every experience is unique — just like the wine. Guido Coffa’s cellar is more than a winery. It’s a deep agricultural and cultural project — one that has chosen the harder path, but also the most authentic.
