Etna beautiful roads
The road that leads us up to Randazzo is one of the most beautiful ones in Sicily, stopping at the oldest tree in Europe, the 100 Chestnut horses.
Etna is the largest active volcano in Europe, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Having the chance to go up to 3000 m is a great fortune and also you will try unique and unrepeatable sensations.
Make sure you visit the fish market and the nearby Piazza Duomo. If you arrive at lunchtime, you can enjoy freshly caught fishes at Fratelli Vittorio, a restaurant located in Via Vittorio Dusmet 1 (avoid going there on Saturdays as it’s particularly busy). You can also go to ETOIL D’Or, a local bar and enjoy their arancini, cipolline and pizzette, all typical dishes from Catania.
Before going to visit the Greek Theatre, don’t miss the aperitif at the Hotel Timeo from where you’ll enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Have lunch at the Hotel S’Andrea and get inspired by unique flavors overlooking the sea.

Lovely characteristic seaside village. We love dinners at La Cialoma and visits to Liccamuciula, a local shop where you can find interesting and stimulating items. Make sure you also visit the natural reserve of Vendicari between Noto and Marzamemi, as well as the Calamosche beach that lies between the archaeological remains of Eloro and the Natural Reserve.
The Villa del Casale with its mosaics is one of the wonders of the world, like the famous room that represents women in bikini playing ball; the French thought it was cemented in the 60s. Stop for lunch at Foghèr where they have a great wine list and interesting menu.
World Heritage and showcasing the most beautiful baroque buildings in the world. You can go to Caffè Sicilia which was named by the Times as one of the greatests bars in Italy. Visit Anche gli Angeli, a shop where you will find unique and interesting items, as well as magnificent architecture and a lovely bar. Don’t miss the main square and where the statue of the poet Coffa, our founder’s ancestor, is.
